The Batman Director Matt Reeves Confirms Colin Farrell’s Role

After all the casting news over the past few months released about The Batman, there was on specific casting whose character had yet to be confirmed. On Monday,  Matt Reeves took to Twitter to confirm Farrell as one Oswald Cobblepot, the iconic Batman villain more commonly known as Penguin. It had been previously reported Penguin is who Farrell would be playing in the upcoming film but never confirmed.

This mirrors Reeve’s tweet last October where Reeves tweeted confirmation Jeffrey Wright would be playing Commissioner Jim Gordon. Days before that, the filmmaker confirmed Paul Dano was attached to the movie as The Riddler.
