Take Two Canceled At ABC After One Season

Despite its title, it’s one and done for Take Two. ABC has canceled the series after one season.

Despite the cancellation news, it’s being reported that the procedural starring Rachel Bilson and Eddie Cibrian could continue on as a pair of streaming outlets is interested in the show about a disgraced actress who shadows a private investigator.

The news comes two months after Take Two wrapped its 13-episode run. The drama, picked up straight to series with Bilson and Cibrian attached, averaged a lackluster 2.71 million total viewers and 0.4 in the all-important adults 18-49 demographic. Delayed viewing did little to help boost the same-day returns, as the drama averaged only 3.83 million total viewers and a 0.6 in the demo with three days of DVR. There was less pressure on the show since it was a summer series but those numbers are low even by those standards.
