Supergirl gave us the first look of its upcoming fifth season at San Diego Comic-Con and Supergirl was a brand new look for year five.
The first look gives us a look at Kara’s new suit (the costume has pants now) and it’s just another way to show the evolution of the character as she heads into what is said to be her most challenging season yet.
Told during the panel was that Mehcad Brooks will be vacating the role of James Olsen during the first half of the first season and we got a glimpse of Kara’s upcoming battle with Lena Luthor, who now knows Kara’s secret identity. If that wasn’t enough, Supergirl will also be involved in the big Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover which will also include Arrow, The Flash, Batwoman and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
