The CW saw a minor dip for its new night of Sunday programming but it’s still one of their better showings overall for the week.
On The CW, both Supergirl (0.4, 1.33 million viewers) and Charmed (0.4,1.30 million viewers) were down a tenth from their premieres. The positive outcome for Charmed is that it’s holding on to all of Supergirl’s demo audience and virtually all of its total viewers so it’s still a solid showing, despite the dip.
On CBS, an NFL-inflated Sunday perked up their numbers but things could change pending updates. As of now, God Friended Me (1.3, 9.21 million viewers) rose three-tenths from its previous 1.0, while NCIS: Los Angeles (1.1, 8.14 million viewers) and Madam Secretary (0.7, 6.45 million viewers) ticked up a tenth.
On FOX, this year’s annual “Treehouse of Horror” episode of The Simpsons resulted in some expected week-to-week improvements for the network Sunday night. However, while The Simpsons were up two-tenths from its previous 1.0 to a 1.2 and 2.84 million viewers, it was down from the 1.6 that last year’s “Treehouse” special scored. Bob’s Burgers (1.2, 2.65 million viewers), Family Guy (1.1, 2.62 million viewers), and Rel (0.6, 1.49 million viewers) were all up from their week-ago numbers.
On ABC, America’s Funniest Home Videos (0.8, 5.49 million viewers) kicked off the night by falling a tenth from last Sunday, while Dancing with the Stars: Juniors (0.8, 4.82 million viewers) held steady and Shark Tank (0.8, 3.96 million viewers) ticked up. The Alec Baldwin Show stayed low and matched its premiere’s preliminary 0.4 rating and 2.19 million viewers (it later adjusted down to a 0.3 in the finals).
