Suicide Squad Tops IMDB’s Most Popular Movie List of 2016

IMDB just released their list of this year’s most popular movies and Suicide Squad made the top spot. Rankings are based on the popularity of the films with their user base only, not critical reception or box office. IMDB further explained,

“This list comprises the top 10 movies released in 2016 that were most consistently popular with IMDb users according to MovieMeter. These rankings are not based upon critical assessments or box office performance, but on pageviews by our combined web and mobile audience of more than 250 million unique monthly visitors.”

Captain America: Civil War and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice rounded out the top 3. Check out the rest of the list below:

3. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice

4. Deadpool

5. X-Men: Apocalypse

6. The Jungle Book

7. The Magnificent Seven

8. Ghostbusters
