‘Stranger Things’ Star’s Father Demands Cash For Representation

After the success of Stranger Things, it is no surprise that the kids from the show have become a sought after commodity.

images-2Since the days of Shirley Temple, parents of child stars have been making demands on behalf of their children. Robert Brown, the father of breakout actress Millie Bobby Brown, is said to have asked for $100,000 upfront in exchange for the right to sign Millie.

A rep for the Browns confirmed Robert had made the requests for payment but said it was “ill advice from someone outside the industry that was said in jest.” Brown is said to be close to several sports agents in the U.K., where payments in exchange for representation are common.

What are your thoughts on these demands?
