Station 19 Hits Series High Thanks To Grey’s Anatomy Crossover

ABC got a bit of a boost from a Grey’s Anatomy crossover and Station 19 benefitted the most from the union.

On ABC, Station 19 delivered a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49, up 0.2 over its premiere a week ago, and 6.5 million viewers, an 11 percent improvement over its previous high (5.86 million). It also retained its lead-in’s audience better than it ever had. Grey’s Anatomy matched its 1.5 demo rating and 6.66 million viewers from last week while How To Get Away With Murder was also steady with a 0.8 demo score and 3.28 million viewers.

NBC, which is having a mostly stellar fall season, has seen its Thursday lineup be their only hiccup. Their comedy shows all came in under a 1.0 in the 18-49 demo: Superstore (0.8, 3.10 million viewers), The Good Place (0.8, 2.79 million viewers), Will & Grace (0.8, 3.40 million viewers) and I Feel Bad (0.6, 2.23 million viewers). Law & Order: SVU was their best performer of the night with a 0.9 demo rating and 4.35 million viewers and it topped the 10 PM hour across the big four networks.

On The CW, Supernatural opened its 15th season with a 0.5 demo score and 1.45 million viewers, down from the 0.7 for last season’s premiere but even with its finale.

On CBS, Mom (1.4, 8.26 million viewers) and SWAT (0.8, 5.45 million viewers) each ticked up week to week, while The Big Bang Theory (the night’s top non-sports show at 2.2, 12.65 million viewers), Young Sheldon (1.8, 11 million viewers) and Murphy Brown (1.0, 6.82 million viewers) all matched their numbers from last week.
