As big a fan of Star Wars as I am, I can’t say that I’ve been huge on Star Wars: The Bad Batch. The series follows the experimental clones of The Bad Batch. With the the first part of the two-part season finale set to stream on Disney+ at midnight,Disney has announced that they have renewed the series for a second season which will launch in 2022.

Michael Paull, President of Disney+ and ESPN+ stated,

“Fans have enthusiastically embraced the action and drama of Star Wars: The Bad Batch and we are excited to see the Star Wars animated universe continue to expand on Disney+,”

“As the dedicated streaming home for the Star Wars franchise, we can’t wait for the second season of this fan-favorite animated series.” The Bad Batch creator and executive producer Dave Filoni added, “The entire Lucasfilm Animation team and I would like to thank Disney+ and our fans for the opportunity to continue telling the story of the Bad Batch.” I’m not completely up to date on the first season, but I have enjoyed what The Bad Batch has had to offer so far and I’m excited to see what their future brings.
