Star Wars: Episode VIII to Premiere without Any Trailers?

The concept of a Star Wars film in 2016 to premiere without any trailers is a concept unheard of. The reality is that this franchise is more than capable of releasing a film while still making millions of dollars without the advertising. One star that wouldn’t mind seeing this is Kylo-Ren himself, Adam Driver.

In a recent interview with CinemaBlend, Driver spoke to the site about Star Wars: Episode VIII and its upcoming promotions. When asked if he’d be happy to see Episode VIII drop into theater sans trailers, Driver stated:

“I think that’d be bold. I’d love it, yeah! Then no one would know anything. The less people know, I feel like, the more exciting… the more of an event it is.”
