Stan Lee Dies At 95

The world of comic books became a bit sadder today. It is being reported that Stan Lee has passed away at the age of 95.

TMZ reported that an ambulance was rushed to Lee’s Hollywood Hills home early Monday morning and he was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he passed away. No official cause of death has been revealed but Lee had suffered several illnesses over the last year or so.

Stan Lee started Marvel with Jack Kirby in 1961 with “The Fantastic Four”. He went on to create “Spider-Man”, “Black Panther”, “The Incredible Hulk”, “X-Men”, “Iron Man” and “The Avengers”. He was also a cameo staple in the Marvel films.

Lee is survived by his daughter, J.C. His wife of 69 years, Joan, died in 2017.
