Space Jam: A New Legacy Dunks On Black Widow At The Box-Office

While critics  weren’t fans of LeBron James and the Tune Squad, averaging a score 31% on Rotten Tomatoes and a score of 36 on Metacritic, Space Jam: A New Legacy grossed an estimated $31.6 million to take the top spot at the box office. The film, which simultaneously premiered on the HBO Max streaming platform earned additional $23 million from international crowds for a worldwide total of $54.6 million.

Marvel’s Black Widow drops from the top spot earning $26.2 million dropped 67% from its opening, the biggest drop yet for a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie

Opening in third place was the horror sequel Escape Room: Tournament Of Champions with $8.8 million for the weekend.
