Smallville Actress Allison Mack to Be Released on $5 Million Bond

In what is considered the most surprising news of the week, former Smallville star Allison Mack was arrested this past week. Mack will be released from federal custody on a $5 million bond, which was approved by Judge Viktor Pohorelsky on Tuesday. Mack was previously charged in federal court with sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and forced labor conspiracy will be allowed to live in California on home detention with electronic monitoring while her case proceeds. The news of her bond was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Mack’s charges originally stem from an alleged role she played in the recruiting of sex slaves, working with accused NXIVM cult leader Keith Raniere. No word on when her next court date will be.
