Season 4 Of Cobra Kai To Commence Filming In Early 2021

Cobra Kai kicked off its third season on New Year’s day on Netflix. To the surprise of no one,  the new season has already received rave reviews from both fans and critics. The season will leave fams longing for more and now it has been revealed when filming will begin on season 4.

Series co-creator Josh Heald revealed to Popculture.com” that season 4 is tentatively set to begin filming early this year. Heald stated,

“We are looking to make Season 4 in 2021. COVID has thrown a wrench into everyone’s plans for exactly when production begins. But our expectation is in early 2021, we will be in production. We are just keeping our heads down and making sure that the story makes sense and the scripts are solid and getting our ducks in a row so the moment that everything looks good, we can begin. The beauty is our stages have so many sets at this point. Things that used to be locations, we’ve built onstage…The moment that it’s a go, we will be ready to jump with very little prep.”

As mentioned before, Cobra Kai has been a hit among critics as it currently holds a 95% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and Ralph Macchio, who plays Daniel LaRusso, recently said that the writers have the show planned out through season six. Whether or not that means the show will end after season 6 will be seen.
