Roswell, New Mexico Holds Steady In Week 2 For The CW On Tuesday Night

The CW is seeing good signs of life from Roswell, New Mexico, which held steady in its second outing on the network.

On The CW, Roswell, New Mexico held well in its second week with the same 0.4 demo rating in the 18-49 demo as its premiere and 1.23 million viewers. This is a good sign that it’s not completely lead-in dependent and that it could potentially thrive on its own. The Flash kicked off things for the network, also holding steady with a 0.6 demo score and 1.86 million viewers.

On NBC, the network once again won the night in both 18-49 and total viewers, despite two of its shows taking small hits week-to-week. Ellen’s Game of Games fell from a 1.7 to a 1.6 demo rating and 7.49 million viewers but still won its hour, as did This is Us (1.9, 8.12 million viewers), which also slipped a tenth. New Amsterdam held steady with another 1.0 demo score and 5.81 million viewers.

On ABC, the season finale of The Conners scored a 1.5 rating in adults 18-49 and 7.73 million viewers, up two-tenths from its episode last week and marking a 2-month high for the freshman comedy. The Kids Are Alright was up next and managed to move up a tenth from a 0.8 to a 0.9 demo rating and 4.54 million viewers. The same could not be said for any of ABC’s other primetime shows of the night, with Black-ish (0.8, 3.36 million viewers) and The Rookie (0.7, 3.83 million viewers) matching their previous episodes, and Splitting up Together (0.6, 2.63 million viewers) falling a tenth.

On CBS, the second episode of CBS’ Big Brother: Celebrity Edition filled the network’s 8 PM hour instead of NCIS, and scored a 1.2 demo rating and 4.92 million viewers, three-tenths lower than its season premiere the night before. Without its usual NCIS lead-in, FBI fell two-tenths to a season-low 0.8 and 7.37 million viewers, while NCIS: New Orleans (0.8, 6.66 million viewers) stayed even.

On FOX, Lethal Weapon aired a repeat while The Gifted went new and stayed low with a 0.5 demo rating and 1.81 million viewers.
