Deadline has confirmed that Academy Award nominee Rooney Mara is set to play the legendary Academy Award winner Audrey Hepburn in a biopic from Academy Award nominee Luca Guadagnino
Deadline confirmed that Mara will also produce the project while Michale Mitnick, who was an executive producer on the HBO series Vinyl, will serve as the screenwriter. This will be the third project that Mara has produced after the documentary The End of Medicine and The Truth About Emmanuel.
Audrey Hepburn was an icon of Hollywood. Her first leading role was in 1953’s Roman Holiday which earned her an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a BAFTA Award for her performance. Along with Holiday, many will remember Hepburn for the iconic Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Sabrina, Funny Face, Charade, and My Fair Lady.
