The legendary Robert Englund has a role in season 4 of the Netflix series Stranger Things, and his relationship with the streamer will continue as Netflix will also be releasing Englund’s latest movie Curs>r, which stars Englund, Asa Butterfield (Hugo), Iola Evans (The 100), and Eddie Marsan (Ray Donovan).
Filmed in the UK, Curs>r recently wrapped production. The story centers on
a broke college dropout (Iola Evans) who decides to play an obscure, 1980s survival computer game in pursuit of an unclaimed $125,000 prize. But the game curses her, and she’s faced with dangerous choices and reality-warping challenges. After a series of unexpectedly terrifying moments, she realizes she’s no longer playing for the money, but for her life.
Kate Fleetwood (Harlots), Ryan Gage (The Musketeers), Angela Griffin (Coronation Street), George Taylor (Wanderlust), Ioanna Kimbook (Flatmates), and newcomer Joe Bolland are also set to star in the upcoming film.
