With the pandemic changing most studio release dates, the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe schedule has been forced to shift back several months starting with Black Widow moving to November 6, 2020.
One of the Marvel films in development is Ant-Man 3, which at this moment, is looking like it will come at least four years after the 2018 release of Ant-Man and the Wasp. With that being said, the first writer for the film has been brought aboard – Jeff Loveness, a writer and producer on Rick and Morty.
Despite the hire, there is no word as to what Ant-Man 3 might be about, except that Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly will both return as Ant-Man and the Wasp. With the time jump in Avengers: Endgame, it can be assumed that the third film could possibly introduce Scott Lang’s daughter Cassie as a new teen superhero called Stature.
