After his breakout role in Netflix’s Bridgerton, Regé-Jean Page has been cast as the lead of Paramount’s new reimagining of The Saint. In addition to his starring role, Page will executive produce the project, which has Lorenzo DiBonaventura, Brad Krevoy, and the late Robert Evans producing.
Kwame Kwei-Armah is set to write the script that is based on the 1920s book series that follows Simon Templar, also known as The Saint. This is not the first time The Saint has hit the big screen as Val Kimler starred in recent adaptation released in the 1990’s.
