Reel TV Ratings: (Tuesday) – Roseanne Down But Still Strong In Week Two

Roseanne came down a bit from its record-breaking premiere last week but it was still strong and dominated Tuesday night by a wide margin.

Roseanne delivered a 3.9 rating in adults 18-49 and 15.2 million viewers, down 25 percent from the 5.2 for its return last week. The Middle scored a season-high 2.2 demo rating and 8.32 million viewers immediately after. Black-ish (1.5, 5.42 million viewers) fell from last week’s season-high 2.6 but was still well ahead of its average. Splitting Up Together came in with a 1.4 demo score and 4.84 million viewers (-0.7 from its debut). For the People dipped a tenth of a point to a 0.8 demo rating and 2.82 million viewers.

On NBC, all their shows improved week to week: The Voice (1.8, 9.32 million viewers), Rise (0.9, 4.54 million viewers) and Chicago Med (1.1, 6.15 million viewers) all ticked up a tenth.

On CBS, NCIS (1.3, 12.08 million viewers), Bull (1.2, 11.02 million viewers) and NCIS: New Orleans (0.9, 8.5 million viewers) all matched their week-ago numbers.

On FOX, The season finale of The Mick posted a 0.7 demo rating and 1.85 million viewers, steady vs. last week, while LA to Vegas rose a tenth to a 0.7 demo rating and 2.04 million viewers.

On The CW, Black Lightning held steady with a 0.5 demo score and 1.48 million viewers.
