Reel TV Ratings: Jersey Shore Family Vacation Dominates Thursday Cable Ratings

I must admit that I was glued to my TV during the premiere of Jersey Shore Family Vacation because I wanted to pretend like it was 2011 again and it looks like many other people did the same because the reality series dominated the cable ratings on Thursday night.

The long-awaited Shore revival series scored two back-to-back 1.5 and 1.4 ratings in adults 18-49, with an average of 2.49 million viewers. To put the demo numbers in perpective, it was the number one and number two show on cable that night and its closest competition was a basketball game which registered a 0.6 demo rating and 1.7 million viewers.

G.T.L. indeed.
