After a failed assassination attempt, two American soldiers run for their lives in a Middle Eastern dessert. One of the soldiers steps into a mine and with the shock of the explosion the other soldier realizes he also stepped on one as well and is stranded there with his foot pressed on the bomb until help arrives to stay alive. He is forced to face the dangerous elements of the dessert and the phycological effects it can have on the mind.
