Quantico Moving To Monday Night

Quantico has been struggling a bit in the ratings for its second season and now it’s making a move to a new night. After its hiatus is over the show will  move to Mondays beginning on January 23.

The show announced the news on twitter and this will allow it to take the place of the basically cancelled, Conviction, which did not receive additional episodes beyond its initial 13 episode order. Quantico will shift into that 10 P.M. slot where Conviction struggled from the start.

Season 2 has been a bit rough for Quantico with ratings this season down in the double digits year to year on Sunday. The show was a breakout hit last season and got an early season 2 renewal after breaking DVR records with triple digit gains. The move does indicate that ABC wants to give it a chance on another night so this could be the make or break moment for the show.
