The Punisher began filming Monday with star Jon Bernthal in Brooklyn. Reprising his role as Frank Castle, Bernthal is sporting a new look this season with a full beard. After a successful debut as Frank Castle in the second season of Daredevil, Netflix quickly ordered The Punisher making it the sixth series in the Marvel Netflix partnership.
No word yet on what the show will be about or where it will pick up from, but one can assume it will be right after where Daredevil ended. There has been no release date set yet.
