Netflix is going back to the Ozarks! The streaming service has renewed Ozark for a third season. The Jason Bateman and Laura Linney drama will be back for another cycle of 10 episodes in 2019.
Ozark revolves around financial planner Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) and his wife, Wendy (Laura Linney), and their family’s sudden relocation from the suburbs of Chicago to a summer resort community in the Missouri Ozarks as they navigate life within a dangerous drug cartel.
The renewal comes after Ozark returned for its second season on August 31. Season 2 received fairly mixed reviews from critics but it was still a big hit with viewers and it came off of a first season that had Jason Bateman earning an Emmy nomination for lead actor and directing. Season 2 currently holds a fresh rating of 70% on Rotten Tomatoes.
