After teasing snippets of the Super Bowl spot throughout last week on his Twitter page, M. Night Shyamalan unveiled a TV spot for his upcoming thriller Old during the big game and it looks like it’s going to be a signature Shyamalan mystery.
The plot of the film is being kept under wraps but from the looks of the TV spot, it appears a family’s trip to the beach goes sideways and I’m sure there will be signature twists and surprises that only Shyamalan can bring. The film stars Thomasin McKenzie, Rufus Sewell, Embeth Davidtz, Abbey Lee, Eliza Scanlon, Alex Wolff, Gael Garcia Bernal, and Ken Leung. Shyamalan’s latest is shooting for a theatrical release with Universal Pictures firmly promoting the July 23, 2021 release date.
