The Nun Release Date Pushed To September

The Nun, the latest spinoff of the horror franchise The Conjuring, has been pushed back from a July 2018 release to September.

The decision to move The Nun out of the summer season should not be seen as a lack of confidence. Warner Bros, who is releasing the film, saw great success releasing IT in September & they’re hoping to follow suit with The Nun. It will also be given a post-Labor Day release date of September 7.

Over the course of four films, The Conjuring franchise has grossed a whopping $1.2 billion worldwide ($426.2 million domestically). The franchise includes the two Conjuring films as well as the spinoffs Annabelle & Annabelle: Creation.
