We have a bit of a wait ahead of us until Halloween Kills hits screens but, courtesy of “Total Film”, we have a new image from the film featuring Michael Myers ready to partake in some murderous deeds. You can check out the first-look image below:
Along with the new image, “Total Film” also talked to David Gordon Green about the upcoming sequel and he says the film is “about the creation of fear”, adding that, “It’s one thing to be afraid of the Bogey Man, to have someone who might be in the closet, under the bed, creeping around your house…But what we wanted to explore next was confusion, misinformation, and paranoia. What happens when fear goes viral? You can’t just stick your head under the covers anymore.”
Green also promised that the sequel will be much more action-packed than its predecessor:
“When we made the last one we wanted to find a way for someone who’s never seen the original to get up to speed with the story. But this one gets right to the action. It’s very aggressive. It’s more efficient. We wanted to be an explosive middle before things get streamlined and personal again.”
Halloween Kills hits screens on October 15, 2021.
