The CW and Netflix have announced an extension to their partnership, making Netflix the exclusive streamer of CW’s shows. The multi-year content licensing deal will keep Netflix as the exclusive home for past seasons of the CW’s series, including Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl.
The new deal also covers iZombie, Supernatural, The 100, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane the Virgin, and the upcoming CW shows Riverdale, Frequency, and No Tomorrow.
The new deal also shortens the waiting time before streaming begins. The time frame has changed to 8 days after the season finale. This means that once the season is complete, the show will be available for streaming just one week after the finale. For those who are looking to binge on a season, it will become easier to achieve.
