Mike Flanagan is one of the most interesting filmmakers working today. When a new project comes up, I’m always interested & his latest Netflix original horror series, The Midnight Club is no different. On Monday, the streaming giant confirmed several cast members for its upcoming new horror series, which is based on the Christopher Pike novel of the same name as well as other works by the author.
The 10-episode series, which takes place at a hospice for terminally ill teenagers that begin sharing tales, will star Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, William Chris Sumpter, and Sauriyan Sapkota as members of the titular club. Zach Gilford, Matt Biedel, and Samantha Sloyan will also have supporting roles, with Heather Langenkamp playing the doctor presiding over Rotterdam Home.
Flanagan is set to direct the first two episodes of the series, with Adam Fassullo, who will co-executive produce, will also oversee the show courtesy of Flanagan and Macy’s Intrepid production studio.
