Fans Rejoice! After being canceled a few days ago, NBC has reversed its decision to cancel Timeless.
Season two of the drama will return with 10 new episodes in summer of 2018 after producers Sony TV fought hard to keep the show going. The studio had been offering the lion’s share of its profits to NBC in exchange for the renewal as they believe in the show’s creative direction and that it has a solid chance of being a long running, family friendly franchise.
The show spent most of its first season on the bubble but it still had loyal fans. The noise they made after the cancellation announcement is a big reason that the decision was made to take a second look at the show.
