NBC Orders Two Comedy Pilots To Series Ahead of Upfront Presentation

After picking up a trio of drama pilots to series ahead of their upfront presentation next week, NBC has added two comedy pilots to the mix of their series orders.

First on deck is Abby’s, and on the series, Abby’s is an unlicensed bar in San Diego where the regulars enthusiastically enforce a unique set of rules that give them a sense of community and allow them to avoid the frustrating behavior found at other establishments. The series stars Natalie Morales, Nelson Franklin, Kimia Behpoornia, Jessica Chaffin, Leonard Ouzts, & Neil Flynn.

The second pickup is I Feel Bad, and on the show Emet is the perfect mom, boss, wife, friend and daughter. OK, she’s not perfect. In fact, she’s just figuring it out like the rest of us. Sure, she feels bad when she has a sexy dream about someone other than her husband, or when she pretends not to know her kids when they misbehave in public, or when she uses her staff to help solve personal problems. But that’s OK, right? Nobody can have it all and do it perfectly. The series stars Sarayu Blue, Paul Adelstein, Aisling Bea, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, & James Buckley.
