Mowgli (First Trailer)

One of the surprise hits of 2016 was Disney’s The Jungle Book. The film which focused on Mowgli and his relationship with different animals in the Jungle. The film was a huge hit commercially and financially for Disney. Fast forward to 2018 and Andy Serkis’ take on the Jungle Book story, Mowgli has its first trailer.

Unlike the Disney film, it is quite obvious that Warner Bros. is trying to position its movie as far away as possible from the upbeat Disney version of the story. Mowgli  stars Christian Bale as Bagheera; Cate Blanchett as Kaa; Benedict Cumberbatch as Shere Khan; Naomie Harris as Nisha  Andy Serkis as Baloo; Peter Mullan Akela; Jack Reynor as  Wolf; Eddie Marsan as Vihaan; and Tom Hollander as Tabaqui.
