Variety has reported that The Flash director Rick Famuyiwa is setting up Kiersey Clemons (Dope) to be the leading lady in DC’s upcoming superhero movie. The two had previously worked together on last year’s Dope. Rumors have it that she’ll be playing Iris West, a tough journalist and friend of Barry Allen, the Flash’s alter ego. Allen will be played by Ezra Miller reprising his role from this year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Production is expected to start later this year.
