Deadline has reported that Michelle Williams is currently in talks to join Hugh Jackman in the P.T. Barnum biopic, The Greatest Showman, which follows the story of the founder of the most famous traveling circus. Zac Efron is reportedly also in talks for the film project.

Since 2009, Jackman has been working on producing the biopic. It’s expected to be the first original live-action musical since Newsies and will delve into Barnum’s invention of the three-ring circus and his take on show business. Michael Gracey will direct with original songs by Justin Paul and Benj Pasek best known for the Tony-nominated The Christmas Story.

The Greatest Showman hits theaters December 25, 2017.
