As if the Ghostbusters fan base needed more ammo to their loathing of the upcoming film, they sure got some in the latest TV spot for the film.

xghostbusters-new-poster.jpg.pagespeed.ic.6oBc91chD-At the end of the tv spot, Slimer is seen driving a car, next to what appears to be a female companion, which resembles our green friend.

Being a fan of Ghostbusters, I have attempted to stay neutral throughout this process. However, it is difficult to remain positive when the fans have been given sub-par trailers, cover of the original theme, and the director and cast insulting the entire fan base throughout.

This introduction of Slimer’s companion may have been the nail in the coffin for all the fans of the original. Ghostbusters releases next Friday in theaters. Will you be watching this film upon its release?
