FX is hitting the road again with Mayans M.C. The network has renewed the Sons Of Anarchy spin-off for a second season.
Mayans M.C. launched September 4 to the highest ratings of any new cable series of 2018. Through three episodes, it’s averaging 8.2 million viewers across all platforms and is the top-rated Tuesday-night series on all of cable or broadcast among men 18-34 and men 18-49.
The renewal comes four episodes into the show’s 10-episode first season & president of original programming at FX Networks and FX Productions Nick Grad had this to say about the renewal:
“Mayans MC is performing fantastically, proving to be a breakout first season. The series premiered as the highest rated cable series this year and continues to sustain a committed fan base, reflecting the talent and drive of creators Kurt Sutter and Elgin James. We couldn’t be more excited to take this ride to a second season.”
Season 2 of Mayans M.C. will premiere in 2019.
