Manifest Continues To Hold Well On Monday Night For NBC

I’m predicting that Manifest is inching closer and closer to a back-nine order because the NBC drama has been wonderfully consistent in the ratings since launching three weeks ago.

On NBC, Manifest is currently at a 1.7 in adults 18-49 and 7.84 million viewers, pending updates for a Monday Night Football preemption in New Orleans. It will likely come down a little in the final ratings but should finish within a couple tenths of last week’s 1.8. The new series also claimed bragging rights for the third week in a row as Monday night’s top scripted program in the demo. The Voice, which is its lead-in, is currently at a 2.0 demo score and 9.72 million viewers, off slightly week to week.

CBS has some much needed good news in the ratings race. The Neighborhood scored a 1.1 demo rating and 6.43 million viewers, off a modest 15 percent from its premiere on October 1. The news wasn’t as good for Happy Together (0.9, 4.96 million viewers) which lost a tenth from its premiere last week. Also losing a tenth was Bull (0.7, 6.44 million viewers) but Magnum P.I. got slight encouraging news as it held at a 0.9 rating and 5.96 million viewers that it earned last week.

On FOX, The Resident (0.9, 4.85 million viewers) and 9-1-1 (1.4, 5.92 million viewers) each ticked down a tenth but they’re still proving to be a solid Monday pairing for FOX which finished second behind NBC in the key demo for the night.

On ABC, their numbers will also likely come down some as the network’s Washington, D.C. affiliate aired MNF, but Dancing With the Stars (currently 1.1, 7.63 million viewers) should end up topping last week’s 0.8. The Good Doctor is at 1.2 demo rating and 7.43 million viewers, even with last week’s preliminary numbers (which were also inflated; the show finished with a 1.1).
