It’s been 11 years since Emma Stone and Jonah Hill teamed up in one of the best coming of age stories of this generation, Superbad. Since then, Hill has gone on to carve himself a great career that includes Academy Award nominations while Stone won the prestigious award in 2016.
The two are teaming up again and Netflix has released the first trailer for a brand new series from that’ll reunite Jonah Hill and Emma Stone, entitled Maniac.
Maniac, a limited series black comedy based on a Norwegian series from 2014, sees Stone and Hill playing strangers brought together after agreeing to trial a mysterious drug treatment thought to cure any mental illness.
What adds excitement for the upcoming series is that Cary Joji Fukunaga, who directed all eight episodes of the acclaimed debut season True Detective, has overseen this brand new project.
