Luke Cage is returning for its sophomore run and it looks like the show will be even more brutal in season two.

Lucy Liu directed the season two opener which begins a 13 episode run for the series. Mike Colter headlines the cast and is joined by Simone Missick, Rosario Dawson, Theo Rossi and Alfre Woodard as the ever-villainous Mariah Dillard. New faces include  The Night Of’s Mustafa Shakir, Insecure’s Gabrielle Dennis plus The Sopranos alum Annabella Sciorra as a trio of new villains that will face off with our hero.

Netflix has also released new key art for season two which can be viewed below this post. Marvel’s Luke Cage season two begins streaming on June 22.
