While the video game genre has failed too many great film adaptations, Academy Award winner Alicia Vikander’s Tomb Raider is one of the more successful ones as the film was able to reboot the franchise in one of the best efforts within the genre. As MGM prepares to release the sequel, the film now has a new director. Deadline has reported that MGM has hired Misha Green to write and direct the film.
Misha Green has written for Heroes, Spartacus, Helix, and Underground, but is best known for creating and writing Lovecraft Country.
My fav from classic era is Legend & from survival era it’s a tie between Rise & Shadow. So I’m thinking something like:

It had previously been announced that the Tomb Raider sequel would be directed by Ben Wheatley (Rebecca) from a script by Amy Jump (Free Fire), however the change was made to bring Green in.
