Lethal Weapon Improves For Fox On Tuesday Night

While the future of Lethal Weapon is still up in the air, it showed some improvements in the demo on Tuesday night.

On FOX, Lethal Weapon posted a 4-month high for itself in the Tuesday primetime ratings this week. The series scored a 0.8 rating in adults 18-49 and was not only up a tenth from its 0.7 last week, but also marked the show’s highest-rated episode since October 2 and tying its season high in the demo. The buddy cop dramedy also hit 3.28 million total viewers. Despite Lethal Weapon’s improved performance, The Gifted followed it with another low 0.5 demo rating and 1.62 million viewers.

On NBC, This is Us took the night’s no. 1 spot in the demo, and climbed back up from its previous 1.7 to a 1.8 demo rating and 7.56 million viewers. Its lead-in, Ellen’s Game of Games went the other way, slipping from a 1.5 to a 1.4, demo score and 6.09 million viewers while New Amsterdam rounded out the night for NBC with the same 1.0 and 5.61 million viewers it had scored a week ago.

On ABC, American Housewife (0.9, 4.37 million viewers), The Kids Are Alright (0.7, 3.41 million viewers), Splitting Up Together (0.6, 2.42 million viewers), and The Rookie (0.6, 3.54 million viewers) all stayed steady. Black-ish was the network’s only show of the night to decline week-to-week, down from its last episode’s 0.8 to a 0.7 demo score and 2.89 million viewers.

On CBS, NCIS (1.2, 12.67 million viewers) and FBI (0.9, 9.04 million viewers) fell a tenth or two, but NCIS: New Orleans maintained a 0.8 demo score and 6.99 million viewers.

The CW aired reruns for the night.
