Lead character of Damien Chazelle’s Babylon Will Be A Young Latino

The next film by Academy Award winner Damien Chazelle is coming together! As first reported by discussingfilm, Damien Chazelle’s Babylon is looking to being production and filming in July in Los Angeles.

Along with the news about filming commencing, Brad Pitt and Emma Stone will not be in the leads of the film as It is rumored that the  studio is currently casting the the lead role and a strong supporting female roles.

These include the

lead male character who sources describe as a early 20s latino male that was born in the U.S. to Mexican immigrant parents who is determined to pursue a career in Hollywood.

The supporting actress that is being cast is rumored to be Anna May Wong, who was considered to be the first Chinese American film actor to gain international recognition.

Damien Chazelle is set to both write and direct the film and will be released in 2021 as it looks like this film will be another awards player for Chazelle.
