Last Year’s Acting Winners To Present At 93rd Academy Awards

We are only a few weeks away from this year’s Academy Awards and for the third year in a row, it appears, the Oscars will not have a traditional host or hosts, an “ensemble cast” of presenters, according to the producers of the April 25 ceremony. In  a statement, Jesse Collins, Stacey Sher and Steven Soderbergh stated,

“In keeping with our awards-show-as-a-movie approach, we’ve assembled a truly stellar cast of stars,”

“There’s so much wattage here, sunglasses may be required.”

Among those slated to present include last year’s winners of all four acting Oscars, Joaquin Phoenix, Renee Zellweger, Brad Pitt, and Laura Dern, as well as best picture, director, and original screenplay winner Bong Joon Ho.

Along with the acting winners from last year, Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, Don Cheadle, Bryan Cranston, Harrison Ford, Regina King, Marlee Matlin, Rita Moreno, Reese Witherspoon, and Zendaya will also present.
