Kids Say The Darndest Things Rises On Sunday At ABC

ABC saw some gains on Sunday night, including for its currently reliable series, Kids Say the Darndest Things.

On ABC, Kids Say the Darndest Things scored a 0.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 4.03 million viewers, up one-tenth from its 0.6 demo rating a week ago. Shark Tank followed it with a 0.8 demo score and 3.51 million viewers, not only up two-tenths from its previous 0.6, but also marking a new season-high in the demo for the series. The Rookie similarly ticked up from a 0.5 to a 0.6 demo rating with 3.73 million viewers. America’s Funniest Home Videos slipped two-tenths to a 0.7 demo score and 4.54 million viewers.

On CBS, their lineup suffered a bit without a boost from the NFL overrun. 60 Minutes predictably dropped from its NFL-boosted 1.6 rating last Sunday to a 0.7 demo rating this time around, though it still pulled in the largest audience (7.98 million viewers) of any of the nights non-sports broadcasts. God Friended Me (0.6, 6.10 million viewers) and NCIS: Los Angeles (0.6, 6.04 million viewers) both tied their current season lows, with the former ticking down a tenth week-to-week and the latter staying even. Madam Secretary also fell from a 0.4 to its first 0.3 demo rating of the season so far. A total of 3.90 million viewers tuned in.

On the flipside, FOX did get a boost of from its NFL overrun. The Simpsons is back up from its non-NFL-boosted 0.8 rating last week to a 1.8 demo score and 5 million viewers. Bless the Harts (0.8, 2.31 million viewers), Bob’s Burgers (0.8, 2.06 million viewers), and Family Guy (0.9, 2.19 million viewers) are all up week-to-week as well.

On The CW, Batwoman (0.3, 1.09 million viewers) and Supergirl (0.2, 840,000 viewers) held steady yet again, with the same demo ratings as their last outings.

On NBC, Sunday Night Football unsurprisingly kept NBC on top of the night’s ratings, with the network’s broadcast of the Minnesota vs. Dallas game averaging a 5.9  demo rating and 19.92 million viewers.
