Jungle Cruise (Official Trailer)

Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt are set for a Disney adventure in the first trailer for Disney’s Jungle Cruise, based on the Disneyland and Disney World’s Magic Kingdom ride.

Johnson takes on the role of role of a boat captain who guides Emily Blunt and her brother (Jack Whitehall) on a trip to find a tree said to have healing powers. Jesse Plemons, Paul Giamatti, & Edgar Ramirez also star while directing duties fall on Jaume Collett-Serra, who last played around in the water with Blake Lively in The Shallows.

Disney is half and half with its films based on their attractions. Pirates of the Carribean is a highlight but stinkers like The Haunted Mansion make you wish they didn’t press their luck. Will this be the same? Dwayne Johnson could make a movie staring at a wall and it would probably still be entertaining so I shall remake optimistic.

Jungle Cruise hits screens on July 24, 2020
