Joker and Harley Quinn Abuse Scene Cut From Suicide Squad

Since the release of Suicide Squad earlier this month, there have been many deleted scenes talked about by Jared Leto revolving around his character, The Joker. As seen in the film, The Joker is a background character of the film and has minimal screen time. After the release of the time, Leto stated,

“Oh, there are a lot of [deleted] scenes, yeah, there are a lot of scenes that didn’t make it to the final film. And hopefully they’ll see the light of day … who knows?”

A recent image published by Rolling Stone Brazil reveals one such scene mentioned by Leto. It’s during the helicopter ride after Joker springs Harley from the rooftop. While the theatrical cut shows the two sharing a passionate embrace and Joker relieved to see her.  At some point during the scene, though, it looks like there was more to it, with him seemingly scolding her with a finger in her face, and her expression does not show happiness, which could lead to the abuse Joker has shown Harley throughout the years in the animated series and comics.
