Jojo Rabbit’s Archie Yates to Lead Home Alone Reboot

When first reporting about the Home Alone reboot coming to Disney+, I was one of many who were against the idea. However, with the casting news announced on Tuesday, I may have a change in opinion. Disney+’s Home Alone reboot has found its lead in Jojo Rabbit break-out star Archie Yates, who will star in the film with Ellie Kemper and Rob Delaney.

The film will directed by Dan Mazer (Dirty Grandpa) and written SNL writers Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell. While not confirmed, the reboot,

sees Kemper and Delaney play a wife and husband who, in order to save their home from financial ruin, go to war with a kid who has stolen a priceless heirloom

Production of the upcoming Home Alone reboot is set to begin production in early 2020.
