The full official trailer for JoJo Rabbit has been released and writer-director Taika Waititi is bringing his signature brand of humor to this very unique World War II satire.
The latest look at the film broadens the world somewhat, allowing us to spend time with Roman Griffin Davis’ insecure Jojo, his mother (Scarlett Johansson), and the odd Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) hiding in the walls of JoJo’s home. Adding to this is Taika Waititi as a whimsical version Adolf Hitler in what could be one of the more interesting theatrical releases this year.
Jojo Rabbit is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and also stars Stephen Merchant, Rebel Wilson, Alfie Allen, and Sam Rockwell. The film makes its nationwide premiere on October 18.
