John Green Teams Up with Fox for Turtles All the Way Down Film

Author John Green has announced through his vlog on YouTube that he’ll be teaming up with Fox on a film adaptation for Turtles All the Way Down, his latest best-selling novel. The studio previously adapted two other novels from Green, The Fault in our Stars and Paper Towns.

Just published this past October by Dutton Books, Turtles All the Way Down centers on a 16-year-old girl who struggles with obsessive-compulsive disorder, much like Green, and sets out to locate a missing billionaire.

In the video, Green elaborates more on his thought process for the film, including that he hopes to avoid “the old tropes that are usually associated with portrayals of OCD” in the adaptation.

I wish they would make a Looking for Alaska adaption too!
