Jason Momoa Unveils First Footage From The Snyder Cut Of Justice League

Happy Thursday fans of DC Comics. If you’re one of the many fans that begged and pleaded for the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League, today you’re in for a treat. Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa, has released the first footage from the film which will make its debut on the streaming service HBO Max in 2021.

Jason Momoa was the first to drop the footage and was then followed by director Zack Snyder. You can check out Momoa’s Instagram post below:

This is the first significant footage we have seen of The Snyder Cut, even though it’s only a short clip. We get to see Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman but most importantly the clip teases the arrival of one of the most massive DC villains that have eagerly been waiting to make his live-action presence known: Darkseid!

The footage shows Gadot’s Diana Prince looking over a cave drawing od Darkseid as menacing narration plays in the background. The clip then suddenly cuts to the fully fleshed out villain surrounded by huge battleships, flames, and molten lava as he prepares to mount what appears to be a massive attack.

This footage should hold fans over until the 24-hour DC FanDome event on August 22 which will give fans of DC Comics’ content some first-look material via an unprecedented global virtual event. It’s only June 18th today so who knows what else Snyder and team will tease us with until then.
